Undine Soundworks (formerly SenzaFineEDM) is an electronic music producer turned multi-genre composer. Their inspirations originated from 2000s-2010s video game / MMO composers (Latale Online, Trickster Online, Cabal Online, FLYFF Online, PangYa!, Phantasy Star Online, etc.)

USW has written numerous originals and remixes inspired by and taken from such video games and their composers. They've produced the OST for Creative Virtual Magic's External Dimension Mainframe, contributed to the remix album for Sukeban Games's VA-11 HALL-A, and arranged pieces for various ren'py visual novels.

Having been in music production for over a decade, USW is branching out into general sound design & audio engineering to compliment their compositional projects. They're always open to brainstorming ideas with game developers, writers, and dipping into the occaional game jam to keep things sharp!

The Process in a nutshell

  1. We meet, chat, get to know one another and we get to chat about your project.

  2. After we get a basic idea of what you're looking for, I'll throw something quick and dirty together and pass it your way to see if we're on the right track.

  3. I will revise this first rough draft until it fulfills your vision.
After we agree that it does, 30% of the commission cost is due here.

  4. I'll continually expand on the idea and improve the mix--sending you status updates along the way so that you can continually offer any feedback--until finally, the final draft is complete.
The remaining 70% of the commission cost is due here.

  5. You will receive the following files representing the Finished Mix in a .ZIP file:
    1. MP3 + .WAV formats of the song
    2. Any additional formats you may require for your project.
    3. Stems (with FX + without FX) of each individual element in the track, for your convenience.

... Then our collaboration is done!

FAQ

Q: Do you do sound design / sound engineering work (SFX creation, mixing, middleware usage [WWise, FMOD, ...])
A: I have experience in FMOD for indie games, using it in the context of adaptive music and sound so that it enriches the gameplay experience of the player. I am currently still building up my portfolio in this area, though.
Q: How do you apply a Sliding Scale system to music?
A: I can negotiate a discounted rate for you for any of these services, on an honor system and out of goodwill from the both of us.
I believe artists should be able to earn a living from the hard work they put into a project they're passionate about. However, I hop in and out of game jams in my free time to keep the creativity flowing, make connections, to practice working under pressure, and to improve my communication with game devs; all that is to say, at the end of the day, I do this because it's fulfilling. But I still need to put food on the table and my free time can be limited. In utilizing a sliding scale payment system for those that need it, I think everyone can benefit.Q: How much of a workload do you accept at one time?
A: I allow myself to take three (3) PAID projects at a time, so that I have ample projects to switch between if I need time to simmer on another and make sure each project gets as much attention as it needs. Please note, this workload can vary if multiple projects involve a heavier workflow (combo arrangements).
Q: I've got a question that isn't here!
A: Say hi on BlueSky or my email! BlueSky is more suitable if you'd like a faster response, however.
